Eve Gramatzki

Eve Gramatzki 1935, Kaliningrad, Russia – 2003, Paris. Educated at the Hamburg School of Fine Arts Eve Gramatzki moved to France in the 1970s, where she enjoyed relative fame for her astonishingly precise pencil drawings of everyday objects. Through her experimentation with a variety of formats and techniques, she created colourful worlds, infused with light and often punctuated by horizontal lines drawn in graphite. Sadly, she brutally ended her life in her Paris studio.
