1957, Zürich.
Fascinated since childhood by our earliest beginnings, Irène Dacunha has created a universe that blurs the boundaries between the real and the imaginary, building a bridge between our contemporary society and prehistoric art. Her monumental lanterns resemble inverted caves, whose walls are inhabited by human figures, goats, mammoths, deer and aurochs, and draw the viewer into an immersive rediscovery of the earliest moments of human history.
