Ofer Josef

Ofer Josef 1965, Tel Aviv After spending time in Berlin and Lisbon amongst other cities, Ofer Josef moved to Brazil in 1993. His oeuvre is lush, fantastical funny and terrifying at the same time, and has on occasion been compared to that of Goya. It shows the failings, vices and excesses of our era in order to better emancipate ourselves from them. His works have been exhibited in London, the Netherlands and several Parisian galleries as well as the Maison Caillebotte in 2024.
