Edmond Baudoin

Edmond Baudoin 1942, Nice. Accountant, then chief accountant for a luxury hotel in Nice, he left this job at the age of 31 to fulfill his childhood dream: drawing. Edmond Baudoin is best known for his illustrations and comic strips, which are distinctly avant-garde in both style and storyline. He is highly inspired by both dance and nature, which he seamlessly combines, as is evidenced by his magnificent trees that are both majestic and undulating, imposing yet airy, diverse and unique – trees that “represent life itself.”
